Coming Soon: Thermafuse

When I found out that Pureology was not going to be available to us any more, I started looking for the next new thing out there. I think it's thermafuse. Here's what caught my attention: "it's the smart way to treat heat-styled hair. " Here's the deal according to their product info: They're the only haircare formulas specifically designed to work with the heat of your blow dryer. They actually protect and improve the health, look, and feel of your hair every time you blow dry. Thermafuse uses a HeatSmart Complex, a revolutonary new technology that does 2 amazing things at once: 1. Heal & repair--a blend of deep conditioning proteins, ceramides, amino acids, and plant extracts easily absorb into every thristy strand, to nourish, revive and renew. 2. Protect & prevent--silicone molecules link together to stand guard against heat-styling and chemical-service damage.

There are 5 formulas--Hydrate Moisture, Protein Strength, Weightless Volume, Fade-free Color Care, and even Dandruff Thermadan. and they have treatments and styling products, too. We can't wait to start working with them.

HEY LOVE BIRDS

Missy got us "curbside" take out service from Pittsford Wegmans last night for a Valentine’s treat. I was bowled over by the SUPERB quality of the food (sorry Johannes). We both felt like V.I.Ps.

so it was kind of a shock to find out that the service is kind of a too well-kept secret since it is SO convenient and SO good. We just couldn’t get over the prices, the caliber of the food: (apps—Lamb Lollipops), and the Seafood Bar (Wild Shrimp & Scallops). YUM!

In other news, look for our new product line coming SOON @ GEL

back from Pittsburgh

Had to miss the weekend to go to Pittsburgh for Missy's stepmom's birthday. we brought all the food, drink, and major present. great time was had by all. on the way back got smacked around on rt. 79 with high winds and whiteout conditions. sad to hear that yesterday it was bad in Rochester, too. my heart goes out to the families of the victim and the other people involved in the 36-car pile-up on 390.

so it's good to be back, thought I'd get some hair done, then bang, my son gets hit in the parking lot. Maybe later it'll be better.

welcome to my first blog

I'm glad to welcome you to our new site--and blog! I will be posting on stuff at the shop, what I'm doing (like going to see Tod Rundgren tonite, and what hot right now in hair. in the meantime, look for new sinks that we're having put in soon, AND new chairs.
